Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were so light-filled with big picture windows offering gorgeous views over the leafy area and colonial buildings. The staff at reception were top-notch, making my experience clean and comfortable.
The hotel is located on Shamian Island, surrounded by colonial architecture and leafy streets with plenty of dining options. The rooms are beautifully designed and have undergone a stylish renovation between 2012-2015, which enhanced the quality finishes significantly. The service staff is friendly and efficient, offering assistance in English for all inquiries. However, the dining experience was mixed, with some areas being disappointing in terms of pricing. Overall, a pleasant stay with excellent views and 5-star facilities.
My stay at the hotel was lovely! The rooms were spacious and clean, with a beautiful view over the river. Although the hotel is relatively small compared to others, it provided a calm and restful night. The service was exceptional, with polite and friendly staff who even assisted me in booking a taxi to the airport. The location, nestled in the tree-lined heritage area of Shamian Island, was vibrant during the day but a bit noisy. The dining experience offered a good selection with a nice river view, but it could be improved for European guests. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with great value for money.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are huge and very nice, and the surrounding areas offer great dining options within walking distance. The reception staff was very good value by international standards, although the food was a bit pricey. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay.
